David D. Rivera Rojas, a.k.a. Dr. Cinematic, is a Latin-American Cinematographer / Director of Photography based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He specializes in narrative films, including the Oscars® contender for Cambodia in 2020 (In the Life of Music), as well as TV commercials, documentaries and corporate videos.
With over 10 years of filmmaking experience, he leverages his storytelling passion and skills to assist international and local media production companies, advertising agencies, directors, and NGOs in creating amazing content that engages audiences on both the big and small screens.
David attended film school at Chapman University (USA), where he earned an MFA in Film Production. His professional background includes projects in Los Angeles, Orange County, Latin America and Cambodia.
Additionally, David actively contributes to the filmmaking community by delivering lectures and leading workshops at institutions such as the Cambodia Film Commission (CFC), the Busan Film Commission (FLY 2016), Limkokwing University, and Universidad Central de Venezuela.
